Als eigenständiges Spin-off und Fortsetzung der Saint-Seiya-Reihe erzählt die Geschichte, wie der einst von Seiya versiegelte Kriegsgott des Planeten Mars kurz vor seiner Rückkehr steht. Saori Kido zieht inzwischen den Jungen Kouga groß, dessen Leben Seiya einst rettete, und der sich täglich trainiert, um Saint zu werden. Als Kougas verborgene Kosmo-Kraft erwacht, beginnt die Legende eines neuen Saints, ohne dass er sein wahres Schicksal kennt.
